7 Deep Cleaning Tools You Need In Your Home

I will admit I am a bit of a cleaning tool junkie. I just love them. I do have a few favorites that consistently make my deep cleaning experience much easier and incredibly satisfying. These tools save me a ton of time and energy. Here is a list of my deep cleaning toolkit.

Steam Cleaner

A steam cleaner is a total game changer when it comes to deep cleaning. It incredibly easily blasts off just about any grimy mess from just about any hard surface. And it does so with minimal effort and absolutely no chemicals. I use this to clean my stove burners, my appliances, my grout, my bathrooms, and really anything that I feel like. I have one that is targeted toward car detailing, and it works beautifully for everything I need. BISSELL also has one with a few more attachments (I’ve never found the attachments to be necessary).

Upholstery and Spot Cleaner

About once a month I like to clean all of my fabric furniture with my BISSELL Little Green Pro and the dirt it pulls up is honestly always somewhat mortifying. This thing works so well! You can use it to clean your fabric furniture, your stairs, your fabric seats in your car, and small spots on your carpet or rugs. I wouldn’t rely on one of these to do a whole carpeted room or whole area rug. It would work, it would just be very time-consuming and give you a sore arm. I’d use an upright carpet cleaner for larger areas.

Upright Carpet Cleaner

I love my BISSELL upright carpet cleaner! I only have rugs and no carpet in my home, and I try to clean my rugs with this about once a month. Again, what it pulls up is always somewhat mortifying and my rugs are visibly a different color once they are cleaned. I would recommend owning an upright carpet cleaner even if you’re like me and only have rugs. Both rugs and carpets can get very dirty quickly and need regular cleaning. Owning one of these will save you so much time and energy and make your home feel much cleaner.

Cordless Stick Vacuum

A cordless stick vacuum like my Dyson V8 is such a helpful tool because of the attachments that come with it. You can use it to get under difficult spaces and reach tough areas that might otherwise go untouched. Plus it is so nice to not have to constantly unplug and replug while you’re trying to clean your whole house.

Gap Duster

This gap duster is one of my favorite things. I try to semi-regularly use it to dust under my fridge, oven, and any other right spaces that are difficult to otherwise clean. It always pulls out some nice dustballs and any other toys or objects that have managed to get hidden under there.

Wall Cleaner Spray and Mop

Did you know you should clean your walls? Well, you should! If you don’t have white walls, you may not notice as much, but your walls can get very dirty. Fingerprints, stains, and dust can all accumulate. A cleaner and mop made to not harm the paint on walls is very helpful for this. You can also use them on your baseboards.

Dawn Powerwash

I’m including this because I use it for so much. It works like no other to get sticky grimy messes to just wipe off. It makes a fabulous multi-surface cleaner, and it is my go-to.
