Crockpot Garlic Butter Beef and Potatoes

Crockpot Garlic Butter Beef & Potatoes

This Garlic Butter Beef and Potatoes meal is super easy to throw together, and it is full of flavor. I love just putting it in the Crockpot on low early in the day and then letting it cook all day. If I have less time, 3.5 hours on high will do the trick just as well.

I wouldn’t rush this dish. I’d allow at least 7 hours on low or 3.5 on high. Any less than that, your meat might not be tender, and this dish is meant to have tender meat.

The ingredients call for fingerling potatoes. You can use large or small fingerling potatoes, or you can chop up some larger potatoes. If you’d prefer, you can skip cooking the potatoes with your meat and make mashed potatoes on the side. That would work well too.

This dish is pretty versatile so you can adjust it to your liking. Feel free to throw in some extra veggies, reduce the butter a little bit, or add some extra onion.

I don’t sear the meat first because I don’t feel like it needs it, but you can do that if you would like.

The steak seasoning is so important! It really takes the meal to the next level. I like the McCormick Grill Mates Montreal Steak Seasoning.

If you don’t have beef broth, making some from bullion will work just as well. I like the Orrington Farms Beef Flavored Broth Base & Seasoning.
