Yep, it has real mud in it. That’s what you were wondering right? It’s certainly what I was wondering when I first checked it out. In addition to real dead sea mud, the Natural Elephant Dead Sea Mud Mask also has aloe gel, vitamin E, olive oil, and seaweed extract. It sounds like an earthy dream for the skin, so I just had to try it.
When you open it up, the first thing you notice is that it really looks like mud. It has a thick dark green texture. Thankfully, it doesn’t smell like mud. It really doesn’t have a smell at all.
I just applied it to my face with my fingers and it went on very smooth. The directions say to let it sit 15 minutes. I felt it drying after about 5.
After I rinsed it off, I was amazed at how soft my skin felt. It felt refreshed and rejuvenated, not like those black masks that can leave your skin feeling like it just got slapped.
I think its gentle nature makes it perfect for a relaxing spa night or for unwinding before bed.
