I recently visited Stone Hill Winery in Herman, Missouri. Herman is a small German town about an hour outside of St. Louis. It is known for its many beautiful wineries. Stone Hill is the biggest winery there, and I got a tour to see how the wine is made!
I saw the huge containers where they make the wine. I even got to sip some right out of a barrel.
For dinner, I went to the Stone Hill Winery Restaurant and had some delicious German food. I paired my meal with Stone Hill’s Chambourcin. It is a red wine that is thought to be the “gateway to dry red wines” because of its fruity, yet earthy flavor.
