I just got back from a beautiful trip to Islamorada in the Florida Keys.
Islamorada is a hidden gem nestled in the heart of the Florida Keys. Known as the “Village of Islands,” it has breathtaking landscapes, vibrant marine life, and a laid-back island lifestyle. Situated between the Atlantic Ocean and the Gulf of Mexico, Islamorada boasts an awe-inspiring natural beauty that is hard to resist. Its idyllic location provides visitors with an abundance of sun-soaked beaches, swaying palm trees, and crystal-clear waters.
One of my favorite activities from our trip was going on a boating expedition.
We rented a boat for a day with some friends. The men fished the first part of the day and then picked us up for a snorkeling adventure. We saw so many beautiful fish!
Islamorada is renowned as the “Sportfishing Capital of the World,” offering a paradise for fishing enthusiasts. Consider embarking on a fishing charter to reel in a variety of game fish, including marlin, sailfish, tarpon, and mahi-mahi.
We stayed at the Islander Resort during our visit. I enjoyed the gorgeous views and laid-back atmosphere there.
Islamorada has numerous great waterfront restaurants and casual fish shacks serving up the freshest catches. You can enjoy stone crab claws, locally caught lobster, and Key West pink shrimp. Don’t miss the opportunity to try the famous “Islamorada Ale,” a local beer crafted to perfection.
And of course, I couldn’t write a blog about the Florida Keys without mentioning the unbelievable sunsets. They take your breath away.
Beautiful kiss in the end.
Thank you! It was a wonderful trip.
Wow, that’s so beautiful! I live here in Florida and I’ve been wanting to go to the keys so bad. Following!
