Margaritaville Lake Of The Ozarks Review

Margaritaville Lake Of The Ozarks

I visited Margaritaville Lake of the Ozarks for the first time this summer with my mom and toddler. We were looking for a little “girl’s trip” getaway, and we stayed two nights. We were very impressed with the resort!

We booked a suite so that Reese could sleep alone in her pack-n-play. Other toddler parents may relate, but if we sleep in the same room as Reese no one gets much sleep, so the suite option ended up being perfect. We put the pack ‘n play in the living room area and that became her room at night. The resort provided the pack ‘n play, so we didn’t have to bring and haul our own.

We found our suite to be very clean and updated. Our favorite part was the beautiful view of the lake. We also liked that it came with a kitchen area so that we could make lunch or a little snack if we felt like it.

A nice feature of the resort was their texting service. You could just text a number if you need housekeeping or a golf cart ride somewhere and someone would get back to you right away. This really came in handy when we needed more towels or coffee.

The pools were all nice, but we ended up spending the most time at the little toddler splash pad area. Reese loved it, and it was so nice to be able to relax a little while she wandered around and played in the toddler-safe area.

We packed a few snacks for the room, but for meals, we stayed at the resort. We had brunch at JB’s Boathouse Grill both mornings, and it had a great breakfast buffet. We had dinner at Landshark Bar & Grill both evenings, and we enjoyed the food as well as the lovely views of the lake.

Overall, it was a wonderful getaway!

A few weeks later, Kyle, Reese, and I did a day trip down to try out the Jolly Mon Indoor Water Park. We had a lot of fun! There are things for both little kids and big kids to do, as well as a nice lazy river. The lazy river was probably our favorite part. I just put Reese in a tube with me, and we would float and relax.
