Are you on a gluten-free diet but still craving a delicious pizza? Look no further! We’ve got the perfect recipe for a Gluten-Free Greek Yogurt Pizza Crust that will satisfy your pizza cravings without compromising on flavor or texture. This easy-to-make crust requires only a handful of ingredients and minimal effort, making it a go-to option for pizza night. It is also high in protein and low in carbs so it’ll be easy on your waistline.
I use the Bob’s Red Mill 1:1 Gluten-Free Baking Flour, and I love it. It’s what I actually make my gluten-free sourdough recipes with as well. I do think this recipe would work with other gluten-free 1:1 baking flours as well though.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup 1:1 Gluten-Free Flour (Bob’s Red Mill recommended)
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
Instructions:
- Combine Dry Ingredients:
In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of 1:1 Gluten-Free Flour, 1 tsp of baking powder, and 1 tsp of salt. Mix the dry ingredients thoroughly to ensure an even distribution. - Add Greek Yogurt:
Add 1 cup of plain Greek yogurt to the dry ingredients. Use a spoon to mix the yogurt with the dry ingredients, and then switch to kneading with your hands until the mixture is well combined. Don’t worry if the dough appears a bit crumbly – that’s perfectly normal. - Shape the Dough:
Place the dough on a piece of parchment paper and shape it into a pizza shape. You can adjust the thickness of the crust according to your preference. - Bake at 400°F:
Preheat your oven to 400°F. Bake the pizza crust for 10 minutes or until it starts to develop a slight golden color. - Add Toppings:
Remove the partially baked crust from the oven and add your favorite pizza toppings. Whether you’re a fan of classic margherita or a loaded veggie pizza, this crust pairs well with any toppings of your choice. - Final Bake:
Place the pizza back in the oven and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes or until the crust is fully cooked, and the toppings are nicely melted and golden.
